This Women’s month we will be highlighting various women in the automotive industry and the strides they are making not only for themselves but for women in general in a predominantly male field.
One such woman is Kudakwashe Diana Oniko.
The 33-year-old is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, who specialises in materials and manufacturing at Staffordshire University.
She has presented her research around the world at numerous automotive manufacturing plants and professional and academic conferences.
Oniko says that she was determined to get back into academia to develop her knowledge of the manufacturing processes used in the automotive industry but most importantly to share her experiences in the industry with upcoming young female engineers.
